Your Itinerary
The 4 days South Luangwa National Park tour is an exciting opportunity to explore one of Zambia's most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries. Along the way, visitors can expect to spot an array of species such as lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelopes. You'll also have the chance to go on game drives and experience the beauty of the South Luangwa River and its surrounding landscape. At night, visitors can relax around the campfire and enjoy the sounds of the African night. Our experienced guides will ensure you have an unforgettable experience in this unique national park.
Day 1
Depart Lilongwe in the morning and head towards the Malawi/Zambia border and after immigration formalities continue our journey towards the Luangwa valley. Picnic lunch is en-route. Arrive in Luangwa in the afternoon, check in and the rest of the day is spent unwinding from the journey. Dinner and overnight at Croc Valley Camp.
Day 2 & 3
Early bird breakfast - coffee/tea with a snack. Morning drive starts at 6:00 in open vehicles from the camp. Drives are usually about 4 hours with a tea/coffee break in between within the park. Return to the lodge by 11:00 for the much awaited brunch. You have your own leisure time perhaps by the pool. Afternoon/night drive follows at 16:00 after tea/coffee and snack. Return to the camp by 8:00 and dinner follows. Overnight at the camp.
Day 4
After breakfast we check out, pack and drive back to Malawi stopping at trible textiles. Arrival Lilongwe is afternoon and drop you off at your place of choice within the city.
